Williamson & Lavecchia, L.C.
6800 Paragon Place
Suite 233
Richmond, VA 23230-1652

Since joining Williamson & Lavecchia, L.C. in 1998, Josh has been representing families whose loved ones were seriously injured or killed as a result of elder abuse and neglect in nursing homes and assisted living facilities in Virginia.  Examples include patients who were physically assaulted, suffered from infected bedsores, given incorrect medications, illegally placed in locked units, and patients who suffered malnutrition and dehydration.

Successfully litigating abuse and neglect cases requires a thorough understanding of the developments in the law and an aggressive pursuit of the evidence.  The medical records for assisted living facilities and nursing homes are unique and require experience to fully understand.

Josh works with a legal team that is experienced at fighting for the rights of elder abuse victims.  Josh's law partner Carolyn Lavecchia is a retired nurse practitioner.  They work with an in-house nurse paralegal and a staff of legal assistants and law clerks.  Prior to filing any lawsuit they have the case reviewed by qualified experts who provide unbiased opinions.
